What is Scór ?
Established in 1969, with the aim of promoting Ireland’s pastimes, Scór is the cultural arm of the GAA offering members the opportunity to participate in a range of traditional activities including drama, dancing, singing, storytelling and more…
Scór offers club members the chance to meet up, have fun and represent their club during the winter months.
There are three age categories:
Scór na bPáistí – for primary school children from 4 th class
Scór na nÓg – for secondary school children
Scór Sinsir – for adults
For over 18 years, Na Gaeil has seen huge success in all Scór disciplines including:
All-Ireland finalist x4 with Scór na nÓg
4x Munster titles with Scór na nÓg
Numerous county titles in all disciplines
We are also proud of our high participation rate and ongoing dedication by the many children,
parents and mentors helping to make Na Gaeil Tralee’s most successful Scór club.

Scór has long been an integral part of Na Gaeil, giving a platform for both children and adults an
opportunity to participate in our wonderful club on the stage. The GAA is more than just a
sporting organisation and we in Na Gaeil have always embraced the cultural side of the
organisation. Many adults and children have participated in all the Scór disciplines and made
memories and friendships which will last a lifetime. We have had the benefit of some excellent
coaches tutoring participants to the highest standards, enabling them to showcase their talents to
the wider GAA community. We’ve also been blessed with fantastic organisers who drum up
interest year on year and ensure that Na Gaeil is represented in as many categories as possible.
It is great to see that after a hiatus Scór is taking centre stage again, and we hope that those
involved will represent the club well, enjoy the experience, and hopefully add to the success
we’ve had over the years. Na Gaeil Abú!!

Chairman Na Gaeil CLG
