Senior team:  Played Div 2 county league, county senior club championship(V Kenmare W, V Dingle L, V Spa L) and county championship( V Austin Stacks L, V West Kerry W, V Mid Kerry L). Club had first ever wins in club and county championship.
Lost All Ireland Intermediate S Final v Brian Og, Baile Stil.
Jack Barry, Diarmuid O Connor and Stefan Okunbor were members of the Kerry team that won McGrath, National League, Munster and All Ireland Championships.
Jack and Diarmuid played in the senior final, Mary O Connell played for Kerry v Meath in the Ladies senior final.
Jack Barry nominated for all star award.

U20:  Devon Burns and Enda O Connor were members of the Kerry team that won the Munster Championship.
Devon Burns named Munster U20 player of the year.
Enda O Connor and Tomas O hAinifein captained CIT and UCC freshers football teams.

Senior team lost County Novice Final to Moyvane.

Padraig O’Sullivan, Eoin O’Neill, Seamus O’Neill, David Culloty , Dermot Flaherty, Kieran Dineen and Evan Crean won Kerry u 21 Championship and Duhallow Invitation Cup with St. Brendan’s.

Senior Ladies played in Pat Lawlor Shield.

This year we had 10 players on various county ladies teams.

Na Gaeil Ladies Tra Li Football Club formed.

At an executive meeting of Na Gaeil CLG, under the chairman Donal Lucey it was agreed to set up a Ladies Football Club.

The founding members were Seamus Moriarty, John Barry, Jerry Cournane ,  Angela Collins, Joe Sheehy and Aisling Sheehy

Under 8, 10 and 12 teams were formed.

14/07/2001 first competitive match was played V Churchill.
