Our minor girls. Playing Co. League final next Sunday.

 

Lotto results/Torthaí an Lató: Lotto 29th April 2025. Numbers drawn were 9, 17, 26, 32. No winner. Lucky dip winners of €20 were Siobhán Lacey, Stephen Curtin, Phil Quirke, Barry O’Donoghue, Sineád Kelliher. Our next draw will be tomorrow (Tuesday 6th) & the jackpot will be €4,400. Volunteers/Cuntóirí: The club are looking for people to help out at bingo on Monday nights. If you can spare 2 hours every 5 or 6 weeks then Niamh (087-9863667) would be delighted to have you on board.

 

Munster Senior Championship Final: Comhghairdeas le Damien Bourke, Diarmuid O’Connor agus ár bhfoireann sinsear Chiarraí i gcoinne An Chlár inné. Final score: Kerry 4-20, Clare 0-21.

 

Tg4 Ladies Munster Championship: Comhghairdeas le Deirdre, Mary, Jadyn agus Mark Bourke on their win over Waterford yesterday in the Munster Championship. The win secured the team a place in the Munster final but first they will play Tipperary in Round 3 next Sunday in Austin Stack Park.

 

LGFA: Good luck to our Senior ladies who face Dr. Crokes this evening in their final group game in the Dónal Curtin Cup. Throw-in at 5pm in Lewis Road.

 

Fé 6 Cailíní agus Buachaillí: Looking forward to seeing you all next Sunday in Killeen. New members are always welcome.

 

Fé 8 Buachaillí: Our U8’s group had a great training session yesterday morning which started with hand passing and kick passing followed by 2 very competitive matches. They are all chomping at the bit for their match against Kerins O’Rahillys next Sunday. Na Gaeil abú! See you all at training on Thursday evening from 6pm to 7pm.

 

Fé 12 Cailíní: Well done to our u12 girls who defeated Cordal last Wednesday.

 

Fé 16 Cailíní: Our u16 girls recorded two wins last week in the North Kerry League beating John Mitchels last Monday and Moyvane last Thursday.

 

Fé 18 Cailíní: Last Tuesday night in Brosna our minor girls had a brilliant win against Knock/Brosna/Duagh in the Co. League semi-final. They will face Moyvane in the final next Sunday at 7pm. Venue TBC.

 

Fé 18 Buachaillí: Last Monday night our minor boys proved too strong for Dingle in Round 5 of the Central Region competition. Tomorrow (Tuesday) they will be away to Castleisland/Scartaglen in a play-off to decide who goes through to the semi-final of the competition.

 

Cailíní ag tréanáil: Our u8/u10/u12 girls train in Na Gaeil every Sunday. New members are always welcome. For more information contact Mike (087) 0508997 or Janice (085) 8424949.

Kerry Petroleum Senior Club Championship: The draw for the 2025 Club Championship has been made and it sees Na Gaeil in Group 1 along with Austin Stacks and Templenoe.

 

Men’s Co. League Fixtures 2025: Na Gaeil’s Credit Union Co. League Division 3 remaining fixtures are as follows: May 11th: Castlegregory v Na Gaeil. May 18th: Na Gaeil v Cordal. May 25th: Na Gaeil v Tarbert. June 8th: Reenard v Na Gaeil. June 22nd: Na Gaeil v St. Senans. July 6th: St. Marys v Na Gaeil.

This can now be found on our new website (www.nagaeil.ie). Click on the three lines in the top right hand corner. Select “About” then “Results over the Years”.

 

Hire the Hall/Halla ar Cíos: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

 

Na Gaeil Cycle Club/Ar do Rothar!: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

 

Cartaí: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Tá fáilte roimh chách.

 

Seanfhocal na Seachtaine: Beatha duine a thoil. Everyone to his/her own taste.
