Volunteers: The club are looking for people to help out at bingo on Monday nights. If you can spare 2 hours every 5 or 6 weeks then Niamh (087-9863667) would be delighted to have you on board.
Annual Race Night: On Friday 29th November at 8.30pm Na Gaeil will host it’s Annual Race Night in the Clubhouse and it will also be streamed live on Facebook. The winner of each race receives a prize and every horse bought will be entered into a draw to compete in the NA GAEIL GOLD CUP with a prize of €1,000 for the winner. The proceeds of the Race Night are vital funding for Major field development, catering for over 600 boys and girls from U6’s to Seniors, maintaining and upgrading indoor and outdoor facilities and catering for Scor Sínsir agus Óg. Horses can be purchased from Donal 087 2577729, Terry 086 8293261, Colm 087 9080465 or any member of the Club Executive, in the Clubhouse or through Klubfunder. Please support Na Gaeil by buying a horse for €50 and you could win €1,000.
Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonnacha: Áthas orainn fáilte a chur roimh Chaitríona ó Ghlór na nGael agus Aeidín ón CLG le déanaí agus iad ar a dturas timpeall na tíre ag déanamh measunú ar chlubanna atá cláraithe le Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonnacha. Delighted to welcome Caitriona agus Aeidin from Glór na nGael and CLG to Na Gaeil recently as they travelled around the country assessing clubs registered with the Joe McDonagh Foundation. Having been awarded the bronze medal in 2023, Na Gaeil hope to be considered for the silver medal award this year in recognition of the club’s continuing efforts to integrate the Irish language into its activities and promote the daily use of the Irish language in our community. Aifreann: Beidh Aifreann bliantúil I gcuimhne ar ár mbaill atá ‘mithe ar shlí na fírinne ar siúl I gclubtheach Na Gaeil Céadaoin an 6ú Samhain ag 8. Fáilte roimh chách. The annual mass for deceased club members and their families will be held in the clubhouse on Wednesday November 6th at 8pm. Everyone welcome.
Na Gaeil Abrew: A big thank you to all those who brought their old bottles and cans to Na Gaeil yesterday morning and enjoyed a free coffee and some home baking for their troubles. Yesterday also marked the closing of the hatch of the much-loved Na Gaeil Abrew for the winter months but we cannot wait to be back serving in the new year. Na Gaeil abú!
Tralee/St. Brendan’s Senior Championship: Na Gaeil will play Kerins O’Rahillys in Round 1 on the weekend of Nov. 9th/10th.
Fé 11 buachaillí: Well done to our under 11 boys who enjoyed a fabulous morning playing pitch and putt yesterday. This is an amazing facility so close to our club and the boys really enjoyed it. Well done to Charlie Riordan who won free membership for the rest of the year and well done to all the boys for their impeccable behaviour during the morning. Thanks also to Jamie and Mandy Blake for arranging the session and here’s to many more !

Changes to Car Park: We would like to make patrons aware of the new wheelchair accessible parking bays and the yellow box for ambulance parking which were added to the club’s car parks earlier this year. Please keep them free at all times for people who need them.

Hire the Hall: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.
Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.
Cards: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Tá fáilte roimh chách.
Seanfhocal na Seachtaine: Is fear rith maith ná drochsheasamh. A good run is better than a bad stand.
