RIP: Our sincere sympathy to Noelle Kingston on the passing of her aunt Tina Wall last week. May she rest in peace.

Bingo: Tonight, Monday 2nd, our Mini Accumulater Jackpot House will be worth €230 in 43 calls. We also have Split-the-Bucket and a raffle at half time. Starting time is 8pm sharp. Bus available on (087) 2817577. Over 18s only. Hope to see you all there for an excellent night out.

 

Volunteers: The club are looking for people to help out at bingo on Monday nights. If you can spare 2 hours every 5 or 6 weeks then Niamh (087-9863667) would be delighted to have you on board.

 

Hospice Coffee Morning: Margaret Doody has advised that a coffee morning in aid of Kerry Hospice will be held in Na Gaeil on Sunday 29th Sept. from 10am to 12pm. Please support this very worthy cause.

 

Na Gaeil Abrew: Our new Coffee Dock will be open during matches and some training sessions over the next few weeks serving tea, coffee and snacks. Club lotto tickets will also be on sale there. Cash and card payments accepted.

 

Oíche Cheiliúrtha:  A huge thank you to everyone who came to the club last Friday night to celebrate our 5 brilliant ladies and their historic All-Ireland win. It was a very memorable and enjoyable night. Special thanks to the wonderful catering ladies in the club who provided a huge array of fabulous food and desserts for everyone present.

 

Kilimanjaro: Congratulations to senior player Darragh Reen who climbed Kilimanjaro last week along with a group of students from UL in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation.

 

Fé 5: Beautiful weather yesterday morning for our training session. A big thank you to all the parents & coaches who helped out.

 

Fé 7: We had 28 kids attend our U7’s group yesterday morning. The group practiced handpassing, kicking skills, defensive skills and finished with a game. We are away to St Senans next Friday evening.

 

Fé 9: Na Gaeil will be hosting a Tralee U9 blitz next Saturday, 7th of September starting at 12pm. The event will be 7-a-side. The teams who will be competing are Ballymac, Austin Stacks, Na Gaeil, John Mitchels and Churchill.

 

Fé 15: Last Wednesday night (28th) the St. Brendans Board u15 team defeated Coiste Trá Lí by 2-10 to 2-9 in the District Championship semi-final in Blennerville. They will now face East Kerry in the final next Wednesday at 8.15pm in Austin Stack Park.

 

Fé 17: Hard luck to the St. Brendan’s Board u17 team who lost to Austin Stacks in the County Championship quarter-final in Blennerville last Monday night.

 

Senior Men: The draw has been made for Round 1 of the Garvey’s Supervalu Senior Men’s County Championship and Na Gaeil have been drawn against Shannon Rangers. The fixture will go ahead on Saturday Sept. 14th in Austin Stack Park at 5pm.

 

Senior Ladies: Good luck to our Senior Ladies in Round 2 of the Bons Secours County Championship when they will take on Dr. Crokes tonight at 6.45pm in Killeen.

 

Changes to Car Park: We would like to make patrons aware of the new wheelchair accessible parking bays and the yellow box for ambulance parking which have been added to the club’s car parks recently. Please keep them free at all times for people who need them.

Club History: During the year Michael Golden spent many hours putting together a list of notable club results & other information about the club since its foundation in 1978. Hire the Hall: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

 

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9.30am and Wednesdays at 6.30pm from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

 

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Everyone is welcome.
