Lotto results/Torthaí an Lató: Lotto 11th February 2025. Numbers drawn were 6, 10, 20, 27. No winner. Volunteers/Cuntóirí: The club are looking for people to help out at bingo on Monday nights. If you can spare 2 hours every 5 or 6 weeks then Niamh (087-9863667) would be delighted to have you on board.

 

Golf Classic: A date for your diary……Na Gaeil will be hosting a Golf Classic on Friday April 4th in Tralee Golf Club. Team of 4 costs €700 (meal included). Tee sponsorship available for €100. Prizes galore. For more details please contact any member of the Executive.

 

Secondary Schools Football: Congratulations to Na Gaeil’s Kevin O’Donoghue who was part of the Mercy Mounthawk team who won the Corn Uí Mhuirí recently. The team will face St. Pats Maghera in the All-Ireland semi-final in Kiltoom, Roscommon at 2pm next Saturday.

 

Cluichí le Teacht: Tralee/St Brendan’s Board Men’s Senior League fixtures: Next Sunday 23rd at 12pm Na Gaeil v Kerins O’Rahillys. Sunday 2nd March at 12pm St. Pats v Na Gaeil.

 

Drámaíocht: “The Learning Curve” – a play written and directed by Mary Quirke will be performed in the club on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th March. Tickets are €15 and are available in the bar after 6pm every evening or from Maggie on 085-2579493.

 

Scór: Scór Sinsír Co. Final will take place on March 1st at 7pm in Dúchas, MTU. All entries to be confirmed before February 14th. Tralee/ St. Brendans District final for Scór na bPáistí will be held on March 11th at 7.30pm in Dúchas, MTU. All entries to be confirmed before March 4th.

Fé 6 Buachaillí agus Cailíní: A good morning from our u6s at training yesterday. As always, we warmed up with the basics, then moved to practicing some more complicated skills. The kids are incredibly quick to pick up stuff, and I thinking the future is very bright. Training will continue in Gaelcholáiste Ciarraí next Sunday from 10am to 11am. Fé 8 Buachaillí: The U8’s Academy enjoyed themselves yesterday morning. The group of 26 enjoyed relays and fun games. Skills training included hand and kick passing, soloing, game of past the guards and finished with a game using their hand passing and kicking skills. See you all next Sunday morning in Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí at 11am. New members are always welcome.

 

Fé 10 Buachaillí: Our U10s were in cracking form yesterday morning, after a quick analysis of the Na Gaeil men’s performance against the Dubs last night, the lads tore into their skills, mini games & gym stations. Great to see 30 lads for the first time this year. Training continues next Sunday from 12pm – 1pm in Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí. New members are always welcome.

 

Cailiní ag tréanáil: Yesterday our girls continued with their training indoors in the MTU. Under 8 girls, under 10 girls & under 12 girls from 9am to 10am. New members are always welcome. For more information contact Mike (087) 0508997 or Janice (085) 8424949.

 

Cluichí Sraithe Chiarraí 2025 (LGFA): Go n-éirí go geal le Deirdre Kearney, Mary O’Connell, Jadyn Lucey, Mark Bourke and the Kerry Ladies when they travel to Healy Park in Omagh to play Tyrone next Sunday 23rd in Round 4.

 

Sraith Náisiúnta Peile 2025: Bhí mí-ádh ar Diarmuid, Damien agus foireann Ciarraí i gcoinne Bhaile Átha Cliath Dé Sathairn seo caite. Hopefully they can get a win from their trip to Tyrone next Sunday. Throw-in is at 1.45pm in Healy Park, Omagh.

 

Sraith Iománaíochta Allianz 2025: Good luck to the Kerry hurlers who play Donegal next Sunday at 1pm in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny.

Kerry Petroleum Senior Club Championship: The draw for the 2025 Club Championship was made last week and it sees Na Gaeil in Group 1 along with Austin Stacks and Templenoe.

 

New-Look Website/Suíomh Idirlíne: Our new-look website is now active thanks to the great work of Kieran Fitzgerald. Check it out on www.nagaeil.ie.

 

Sky Sports: We are delighted to say that the clubhouse is now showing all the major Premier League soccer games on the big screen.

 

Carrchlós: We would like to make patrons aware of the new wheelchair accessible parking bays and the yellow box for ambulance parking which were added to the club’s car parks last year. Please keep them free at all times for people who need them.

 

Stair Na Gaeil: Last year Michael Golden spent many hours putting together a list of notable club results & other information about the club since its foundation in 1978. This can now be found on our new website (www.nagaeil.ie). Click on the three lines in the top right hand corner. Select “About” then “Results over the Years”.

 

Hire the Hall/Halla ar Cíos: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

 

Na Gaeil Cycle Club/Ar do Rothar!: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

 

Cartaí: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Tá fáilte roimh chách.

 

Seanfhocal na Seachtaine: Ní thagann ciall roimh aois. Sense does not come before age.
