Tralee/St. Brendan’s Senior Championship: Unfortunately our senior men lost to Kerins O’Rahillys in Round 1 yesterday on a scoreline of Kerins O’Rahillys 3-8, Na Gaeil 2-5.
Hurling: Good luck to Abbeydorney in the AIB Munster Club Intermediate Championship semi-final next weekend against Cashel King Cormacs from Tipperary.
Congratulations: Well done to our neighbours Austin Stacks on their win in the County Intermediate final last Saturday.
Scór na nÓg: Congratulations to Na Gaeil’s Sam Gleasure, Isla Fitzmaurice, Faye Fitzmaurice, Caoimhe Daly, Farren Ní Dhálaigh, Jane Cantwell, Bláithín Casey and Bríd O’Sullivan who were winners of the Novelty Act in the county Scór final last Saturday night in Glenbeigh. The team were mentored by Mary Quirke. They will now compete in the Munster semi-final at the end on November.
Annual Race Night: On Friday 29th November at 8.30pm Na Gaeil will host it’s Annual Race Night in the Clubhouse and it will also be streamed live on Facebook. The winner of each race receives a prize and every horse bought will be entered into a draw to compete in the NA GAEIL GOLD CUP with a prize of €1,000 for the winner. The proceeds of the Race Night are vital funding for Major field development, catering for over 600 boys and girls from U6’s to Seniors, maintaining and upgrading indoor and outdoor facilities and catering for Scor Sínsir agus Óg. Drámaíocht: As a result of huge interest expressed in staging a Drama Production in Na Gaeil, Mary Quirke is proposing to start rehearsals in the New Year with a view to treading the boards in early March! Accordingly, we are asking anyone interested in getting involved to attend an open meeting next Friday 15th November at 7.30pm in Na Gaeil. We are looking for actors, stage crew, sound/lighting technicians, PR and marketing personnel. Please pass on this information to anyone who you might think would like to participate.
Sports Club Grants 2024: Na Gaeil CLG would like to publicly acknowledge the financial assistance received from Kerry County Council under the KRSP sports club grant 2024.

LGFA: Congratulations to Deirdre Kearney and Mary O’Connell who have been nominated for All-Stars. The winners will be announced at a gala banquet at The Bonnington Hotel in Dublin next Saturday.

Changes to Car Park: We would like to make patrons aware of the new wheelchair accessible parking bays and the yellow box for ambulance parking which were added to the club’s car parks earlier this year. Please keep them free at all times for people who need them.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.
Cards: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Tá fáilte roimh chách.
